My Story & Our Mission

I am Halima, a wife and mom of two energetic boys. Since 2018, I've been the creative force behind Wild Mud Inc, specializing in handmade cold process soap and natural skincare products. I'm excited to be expanding my product line to include body butter, body deodorant, and shampoo bars, which will be available on this website soon.

My journey into natural skincare began after experiencing an unexpected allergic reaction to commercial soaps—something that had never happened to me before. This prompted me to dive deep into research, where I uncovered some concerning truths about many commercial products. I learned that ingredients like parabens, sulfates, and triclosan commonly found in these products can trigger allergic reactions, disrupt hormonal balance, and potentially increase the risk of certain cancers.

This eye-opening discovery led to meaningful conversations with my husband, who encouraged me to take control and create safer skincare alternatives at home. Drawing on my chemistry background and natural creativity, I began crafting soap for my family and friends. Their overwhelmingly positive response and enthusiasm inspired me to transform this passion into a small business dedicated to providing you and your family with natural, handmade skincare solutions.

My soaps are 100% natural, organic, handmade, and ethically produced without harming any animals during testing or production phases. Each bar is carefully formulated with rich natural oils and luxury butters that are incredibly healthy and nourishing to the skin. I also incorporate amazing essential oils sourced from all over the world that not only fight harmful bacteria and provide beautiful scents, but also help soothe your mind and body through the therapeutic benefits of aromatherapy.
